There seems to be some social stratification system in place when it comes to placements in dorms - houses - in Passerine Hills. There are three of them: Lyrebird, White Crow and Sparrow, in descending order of prestige.

Of course, Sparrow House is the lowest in the hierarchy because it's for scholarship students, and who wants poors around, am I right? It's also the smallest because they don't want to waste resources on people who are going to leave anyway because the pressure is just too much. I won't leave, though, because I'm built different. Reminder: come up with some excuse about why you're here. Convince everyone that you're here because you wanted to be here. Sell them some tale about wanting to be closer to the common folk as a... gratitude exercise perscribed by a coach or something. Just don't let them know who you are.

White Crow House is boring because almost everyone else lives there. The biggest one, the most boring one, we can skip it. Nothing of note here.

But Lyrebird House. God. The peak. Legacy students and people who were selected by the Board because they have some sort of... potential, I suppose. That's where I was meant to be. I need to... I don't know if this is possible, but I need to get there somehow. I'll get there. This is where I'm meant to be.
